The Power of Teamwork

A Unique Team Building Experience

DSC_0201

The Power of Teamwork is a unique program designed by North Shore Rowing Club (NSRC) to leverage the mental and physical skills that rowing fosters to help build teamwork, develop leadership skills and improve collaboration. In addition to physical and technical skills, the program focuses on building a mental approach that fosters fast, focused and agile thinking.

Often referred to as the ultimate team sport, rowing requires all crew members to work together in unison towards a common goal. This requires both physical and technical skills, including timing, positioning; and mind-set, as all these factors impact how the boat runs.

The NSRC program is ideally suited for organisations looking for an engaging, energetic, and unique experience. Prior rowing experience in not necessary and all sporting abilities are fully supported. The program is run by highly experienced coaches and is held on the picturesque Lane Cove River.

The founder of a billion dollar company best expressed the power of teamwork when he once said
If you could get all the people in an organisation rowing in the same direction, you could dominate any industry, in any market, against any competition, at any time.” Patrick Lencioni, Author of The Five Dysfunctions of Team
